It's almost a WEEK in China!!!

Wow!!! Time really flies and we have been staying in China, Wuhan for more than 5 days already. It has been really great so far and i can say that i am getting used to the lifestyle here. It's so much different from how i live in Singapore. Being in a foreign country is really not easy, because we are far away from home and we may not know how the world is like outside our comfort zone. China is a really huge country and i have learnt it is very important to keep ourselves safe. Our lessons have already started and there are lots are PBLs and tests that will be coming in a few weeks time. In my personal opinion, it is harder to study in China than in Singapore because being in China, i would be tempted to go out and explore the vicinity and try out their local food than staying in the dormitory, missing out the weather and fun.

So far, the OIE module has been going on quite well and the content for the module complementary medicine is quite interesting where we learnt a lot of new facts. I did not know that different parts of the plants have different effects on the body and complementary medicine is actually not a cure but more of a prevention and to enhance the effect that is used to cure the illness. Isn't it cool?! haha!

Anyway, today we have been on a city tour whereby we visited the Wuhan provincial museum, the East Lake, the yellow crane tower and walked along Jianghan Shopping street. It is a really tiring day for us but we sure took a lot of nice photos of the lake and get to know about the history of how the yellow crane tower come about.
